These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of EventWipe’s website, app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Authority
You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have authority to use the accounts and calendars connected to EventWipe.
2. Service Description
EventWipe helps users identify and remove calendar events from connected providers. Deletion actions are initiated by you and may be irreversible depending on provider behavior.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing selections before deletion and for maintaining any backups you need. You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
4. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for protecting account credentials and for all activity under your sessions. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Payments and Entitlements
Some features require a one-time payment of 3.99 USD for one year of access. Fees are shown at checkout before purchase, and paid access runs for one full year from payment. Access does not auto-renew, and there is no recurring charge; you can make another one-time payment next year if you choose to continue access. Paid entitlement is linked to the email address used for your EventWipe account and checkout, and is valid only for that account email. Payment processing is handled by third-party processors under their terms. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once service access is granted.
6. Acceptable Use Restrictions
You may not copy, reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Service, bypass access controls, or use automated means that harm reliability or security.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, branding, and content (excluding your own data), is owned by EventWipe and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (such as calendar and payment providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventWipe and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to EventWipe in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EventWipe from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if needed to protect the Service, users, or legal compliance.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules. You agree to resolve disputes in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
