Can EventWipe remove duplicate events?
Yes. Connect your calendars, review duplicate groups, and delete the extras. Third-party sync tools are a common cause when the same meeting appears in more than one calendar. See our duplicate cleanup guide .
Is there a Google Calendar add-on?
Yes. Install EventWipe from Google Workspace Marketplace . It opens in the Google Calendar sidebar so you can search by keyword, preview matches, and delete without switching tabs. The web app has more advanced rules if you need them.
How do Apple app-specific passwords work?
Apple CalDAV requires an app-specific password, not your Apple ID sign-in password. In a web browser, sign in at account.apple.com , open Sign-In and Security > App-Specific Passwords, generate one, and paste it into EventWipe. If it stops working, revoke the old password there and create a new one.
When are events actually deleted?
After payment confirms, EventWipe runs deletion and shows a success message.
Can I include past events?
Yes. Enable the include past toggle before applying rules.
Can I preview events before deleting?
Yes. EventWipe shows a review list so you can confirm exactly what will be removed.
Do I need to reconnect every time?
No. Your session stays active until it expires or you sign out.
What if no events match my rules?
You will see zero matches and nothing is deleted. You can adjust filters and try again safely. See our rules matching guide .
Can I clean multiple calendars?
Yes. Select the calendars you want to scan, then run your cleanup rules across them.
How does billing work?
It is a one-time $3.99 payment for one year of access. There is no auto-renew; you pay again next year if you want to continue.
